We usually baptize during Sunday worship. If you feel called to Baptism in the Episcopal Church for you or a loved one, please contact our priest to schedule a time to talk about the preparation process.
Through Holy Baptism, God adopts us as his children and makes us members of Christ’s body, the church, and inheritors of the Kingdom of God.

Those wanting to be married at St. John’s can set up a time to speak with clergy about the Sacrament of Marriage by calling 404.761.8402 or emailing our clergy. Rather than “renting out” the church for weddings, we minister to couples wanting Holy Marriage in our particular tradition.
Please email for more information (cost, scheduling, etc.)or call 404-761-8402 to set up a time to speak with our clergy.
++ St. John’s is a fully affirming parish. The Sacrament of Holy Marriage is available for same-sex couples and all who conform to the requirements of The Episcopal Church.

The transition from life to death is a “thin place” and we are here for you, whether or not you are a member. If we can be of service to you by praying with you and loved one during their time of death, or help you in planning and having a funeral, please call us at 404-761-8042 or email our clergy. If you have a pastoral emergency outside of church hours, call 404-482-0192.
An Episcopal Church Funeral is an Easter liturgy, meaning that the prayers celebrate celebrating Christ’s (and our) victory over death. It is perhaps the most beautiful service in our Book of Common Prayer.
You do not have to necessarily be a member (or an Episcopalian, for that matter) to have a Christian burial at St. John’s.
There can be costs associated with funerals (flowers, musicians). However, we do not “charge” for funerals in our church. Get in touch if we can be of service.
